Spreading Holiday Cheer Through Service, Sisterhood & Community Impact
Every December, the SF Section of NCNW brings our community together to celebrate the season with purpose. Our annual Holiday Giving Event unites members, partners, and neighbors to uplift families, support children, and strengthen the bonds of sisterhood. Through joyful gatherings, acts of service, and generous donations, we honor NCNW’s mission of empowering women of African descent, their families, and their communities.

Our Mission
The SF Section of NCNW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to empowering women of African descent, strengthening families, and uplifting our community through service, advocacy, and meaningful programming. What began as a small circle of dedicated members has grown into a powerful community network that supports local families throughout the year and especially during the holiday season.

We believe that service, sisterhood, and community impact are deeply connected. By combining celebration with purposeful giving, we honor the legacy of NCNW and foster unity across San Francisco. Through our annual holiday initiatives and local partnerships, we provide essential support, resources, and joy to children and families who need it most.

Cost: Free to attend — please bring a new, unwrapped gift 🎁
What to Wear: Festive holiday attire—sweaters, Santa hats, or anything that brings seasonal cheer
Where Donations Go: All gifts collected will support children and families in need through our local community partnerships
Come share the spirit of giving as we brighten the holidays for families across San Francisco!
🎁 Donate a Toy – Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event or drop it off at participating bars.
👯 Volunteer – Help us coordinate, decorate, and keep the festivities running smoothly.
